Today i got a chance to get to my blog after so many days...
ABHINAV BINDRA got Gold MEDAL in the OLYMPICS..... first gold for the country.
All of us are REALLY proud of him. He has now become our HERO. But now the question which is arising in my mind again and again...Will this great achievement will get its real value or this will also be forgotten with time . I mean at the moment he is the hero , he is getting all the attention . But what in coming years ,will he not be forgotten like other OLYMPIANS, who are living an unknown life ..how many of us know every one of them.Do we know the names of all the members of that hockey team which brought GOLD for the country.So who takes the guarantee that the coming generations will remember Abhinav for his great achievement other than in general knowledge books as an answer to the question "The first Indian to win an individual gold medal at the olympics?"
